Ellenore Hobkirk

I have been closely associated with the Ninewells Cancer Campaign since 2015 and I am delighted to work to further its success. I joined the University of Dundee in early 2013 as Head of Development and Alumni Relations (DARO) I am also member of the External Relations directorate leadership team. Under my leadership DARO fundraises for university priority projects from a variety of philanthropic sources and builds, maintains and enriches the University’s relationships with its graduates.

I initially worked in the financial sector and qualified as an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and was a certified IFA and financial planner. My focus was in private client wealth management, leading teams at Barclays and Scottish Amicable.

Since 2004 I have worked internationally in advancement and development roles in both the charity and education sector. Currently I Chair the Caledonian Group of Scottish HE Directors of Development and serve as a trustee on a local charity.
